Completed and ongoing projects
Our firm has successfully advised numerous clients in in relation to BOOT and BOT contracts. Our experience includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- MAK advised on BOT contracts related to the development of a power plant within the renowned ‘Lamar Towers’ project, a landmark mixed-use development located on a 33,000 sqm plot along the North Corniche of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This high-profile project is valued at over SAR 2.25 billion (USD 600 million) and comprises approximately 420,000 sqm of built-up area, including 500 premium residential units, most of which offer views of the Red Sea.
- MAK prepared and advised on BOOT contracts for a reputable Saudi company in connection with a large-scale project to construct and operate 20 towers and hotels in the Al-Masfalah District of Makkah. The estimated value of the project is approximately SAR 7 billion (USD 1.87 billion).
- MAK prepared and advised on BOT contracts for the development and operation of a parking facility in Saudi Arabia with a capacity exceeding 500 vehicles.
- MAK advised on the BOT contracts related to the establishment of a power plant serving well-known towers in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The project is valued at over 400 million SAR (107 million USD).
- MAK advised a reputable Saudi company on a BOT contract with Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily) for the development, operation, and eventual transfer of telecommunications and information technology infrastructure and services. Under the agreement, Mobily is responsible for all capital and operational expenditures. The estimated value of the project is approximately 120 million SAR (32 million USD).
