1: MAK continues to advise and represent a reputable Saudi company in connection with the Head Quarter Business Park Tower (“HQBP”) in all its legal matters and contracts. The HQBP is the largest business tower in the Western province and a landmark in Jeddah, situated on the prestigious Jeddah Corniche and with an estimated value in excess of 2.25 bllion SAR (600 mllion USD). The HQBP consists of approximately 75,000 SqM of built-up area and is considered a state of the art and building. MAK’s legal services in connection with the HQBP include, but are not limited to, preparing and advising on the following:
- Purchase Agreements of the HQBP units;
- Lease Agreements of the HQBP units;
- Middleman Agreements related to the sale of the HQBP units;
- Design Contracting Contracts of the HQBP;
- Electromechanical Contracting Contracts of the HQBP;
- Construction Agreement of the HQBP “FIDIC contract”;
- Design-Build-Operate Contract (“DBO”);
- Construction Supervision Agreement of the HQBP;
- Marketing Consultancy Agreements;
- Operation And Maintenance Service Agreement of the HQBP;

2: MAK advised on multiple Design-Build-Operate (DBO) Contract, a Construction Supervision Agreement and Marketing Consultancy Agreements. Our firm has also played a crucial role in advising on the operation and maintenance service agreement for the headquarters building and other clients and managing all procedures required to obtain the off-plan license to sell the units from the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, MAK has provided comprehensive legal opinions on the owners’ association matters and has assisted in the preparation and review of numerous contracting and service agreements. Alongside these services, MAK has also provided corporate legal advice regarding various aspects of the development, ensuring seamless legal support in connection with construction for many high-profile clients.
3: MAK advised a large development company on several contracting and construction contracts in connection with residential high-rises in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The project was developed as part of the joint venture between two of the biggest developers in Saudi Arabia and is a prestigious residential development with an estimated value of 3 billion SAR (800 million USD) located on the North Corniche strip of Jeddah, with a total built up area of approximately 454,000 SqM and with the second tower boasting an impressive height of 293m.
4: MAK advised one of the five largest real estate companies in UAE, in a real estate project in Saudi Arabia with an approximate value of 100 million SAR.
5: MAK advised on a contracting contract in connection with a 5-stars hospitality project in Makkah aimed at the market of luxury hospitality services for pilgrims and Umrah visitors. This Makkah hospitality project specifies approximately 54,000 SqM of gross build-up area, with an estimated construction value of 170 million SAR.
6: MAK advised a reputable British real estate company in establishing a joint venture in Saudi Arabia with an approximate value of 100 million SAR.
7: MAK prepared and advised a reputable British real estate company in connection with a middleman agreement for selling lands in Saudi Arabia.
8: MAK advised Emaar Group on several contracting and real-estate legal matters in Saudi Arabia.
9: MAK advised RE/MAX on several real-estate legal matters in Saudi Arabia.
10: MAK advised a reputable Saudi company on several real-estate legal matters and sales agreements in Saudi Arabia in connection with the sale of a land with an approximate value of 3.2 billion SAR (852 million USD).

12: MAK advised a reputable British company on several real-estate legal matters in Saudi Arabia in connection with the construction and development of a mega residential compound in the Western Province in Saudi Arabia with an approximate value of 800 million SAR (214 million USD).
13: MAK advised a reputable Saudi company on a construction contract in Yanbu Industrial City in Saudi Arabia in connection with the construction and development of a luxurious residential buildings with an approximate value of 600 million SAR (159 million USD).
14: MAK advised a reputable Saudi company on the preparation of shops lease agreements in a mega shopping mall owned by the above company in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia with an approximate value of 400 million SAR (107 million USD).
15: MAK advised several Saudi companies on their shops lease agreements and other related legal lease matters in the Red Sea Mall, one of the largest and most luxurious shopping malls in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
16: MAK advised a reputable Saudi company in connection with the preparation and registration of the bylaws of the owners’ associations of one of the three largest and most luxurious residential compounds for Saudis in Jeddah with an approximate value of 500 million SAR (133 million USD). MAK has also provided several legal opinions to the above owners’ associations and attended many general meetings as the legal advisors of the said association.
17: MAK advised the owners’ associations of one of the biggest and most luxurious residential towers at Jeddah Corniche in several legal matters in connection with the owners’ associations.
18: MAK prepared and completed all necessary procedures to secure the off-plan (units under construction) license for a reputable Saudi real estate company, collaborating with relevant ministries and government bodies. This was in relation to the sale of units in a high-value project estimated at SAR 450 million (USD 120 million).
19: MAK advised the renowned Emaar King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) on the development and implementation of policies and financial arrangements for its marketing operations.
20: MAK advised prominent UK- and Bahrain-based companies on decennial liability under Saudi law and Sharia principles, including its application and enforceability in contracting agreements before Saudi courts.
21: MAK advised a Saudi company on a Project Management Agreement for the development of a significant and high-profile building complex in Saudi Arabia.
22: MAK advised a Saudi company on A Design Consultancy Services Agreement concluded with an offshore company in connection with a residential tower.
23: MAK advised a Singaporean company on a deed of warrantee and indemnity issued in its favor by a Saudi company to warrant and indemnify the performance of a contracting agreement in accordance with the laws of Saudi Arabia.

26: MAK advised a Saudi company on a Site Construction Supervision Services Agreement in connection with Layaly Residences in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
27: MAK advised a reputable mixed-capital Saudi real estate company on matters relating to the title deed of a land parcel valued at approximately SAR 350 million, designated for the development of major residential high-rises, including review and analysis of the approved krooki (survey) plan issued by the Municipality.
28: MAK prepared and advised a reputable Saudi mixed-capital real estate company in connection with a Marketing Agreement to appoint an exclusive marketer in Gulf Cooperation Council Countries to promote, market and sell several pots of land owned by the company.
